Christmas is a special time of year that provides a unique opportunity for our international partners to share the good news of Jesus Christ. We work in areas facing increasing persecution, yet we hold fast to the truth that The Light shines brightest in the darkest places.
Throughout December, we support outreaches that will impact tens of thousands of people in under-served, under-resourced, and under-evangelized areas where we have been called to partner in the gospel.
Orphans and children, widows and women, and entire communities will experience love through a Christmas gift, a warm meal, a meaningful gospel presentation, and a connection to a local church. Your generosity makes this possible as just $5 provides both a gift and a meal. My own children have joined me in giving for years, each contributing $5. Here are some examples of the incredible outreaches our partners are leading:
Myanmar
Myanmar is experiencing a heightened period of the longest-running civil war in modern history. This reality requires our partners to share the good news of Jesus with wisdom and care. Christmas is a unique window of opportunity when thousands gather on the campuses of the orphanages we support through Love Children’s Home. Here, they worship, share a meal, and hear the story of Jesus breaking into the world.
Orphans along with Disciple Bible School students and adult leaders visit surrounding villages with rice, oil, salt, blankets made by Love Loom House, and the message of Christmas. It’s amazing to see children transformed by Jesus now sharing His hope with the world.
Nepal
I witnessed firsthand the impact of your generosity in Nepal. Our mission team joined Paul to host Christmas outreaches in the slums of Kathmandu and remote villages. We saw miracles, salvations, and lives transformed by the love of Jesus.
These villages are in remote areas, requiring dangerous travel through the mountains. Paul mentors and works alongside a network of pastors and churches. Many will receive a blanket, a warm meal, and the life-changing message of Jesus this Christmas.
Andaman & Nicobar Islands
The ministry in the islands is extraordinary. These islands, over 1,000 miles from India, are home to more than one million people—many forgotten by their nation, the world, and the church. Christmas is a time when they can freely share about Jesus. Their outreach includes a trailer equipped with a Santa Claus, songs, dancing, gifts, food, and a gospel message. They recently completed 100 Days of Prayer, gathering each morning and evening to pray for revival in the islands.
Israel
Mazen and his team will hold Christmas outreaches for children and orphans. In the area he ministers, over 400,000 people are struggling with starvation, so the church brings food, compassion, and the hope of Jesus. This is a challenging time for the region, and we are praying for peace amid the ongoing conflict. May many come to know the truth of Psalm 62:1 “My soul finds rest in God alone.”
Kenya
Upper Room Church will host a large Christmas youth conference with over 600 attendees. This is part of their network of churches in the Kitale region, where many are coming to know God in powerful ways. Outreach will happen where many people will receive a gift and a warm meal this Christmas.
It is a tremendous honor to stand alongside the men and women God has called us to partner with through Going Global Inc. Merry Christmas to all of you! This time of the year can be a very special time for friends and family. It can also be difficult for some. In this episode, Paul shares a powerful testimony about a time when God changed his travel plans to minister in a remote mountain village. He had planned to take a short 15-minute flight and had already purchased his ticket, but God prompted him to take the long way and drive instead. The plane Paul was supposed to fly on tragically crashed, leaving no survivors. Paul’s story highlights how God spoke to him during prayer, providing clear direction. That same kind of divine guidance is available to us, too.

Just a few verses earlier the scripture says, “the former things have taken place, and new things I declare.” That is a word for you, me, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. God is doing a new thing, Let’s give him praise!
