The Andaman & Nicobar Islands
Located in the Indian Ocean between Myanmar and Sumatra are the islands that form an arc known as the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Altogether, the territory consists of 572 tropical islands, but 38 of them are inhabited.Their people groups are made up of Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, and Animists.
Ministries we support:
The Love Children Home has over 100 orphans. Each orphan is housed, clothed, fed, given an education, and receives Christ's love.
Annual Christmas Outreach:
Each year an outreach is held throughout the islands to share the birth of Christ. Nearly 200,000 islanders participate.
Throughout the year outreaches are held for widows throughout the islands. Several hundred attend each one and are given a good meal, new clothing, Bibles and teaching.
Several times throughout the year childrens’ outreaches are held at the church, community parks, refugee shelters, and rural villages. Thousands of children attend.
Television Outreach: Twice each week one million people in the Andaman/Nicobar islands are reached with this evangelical outreach in the local language.
