Grace

“According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.  For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”  1 Corinthians 3:10-11

“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain.”  1 Corinthians 15:10

Paul understood how God had given him grace to serve others.  He explained that some plant, some water, but God does the harvesting.  And ultimately, it is God’s grace that enables us to do what we do for Him.  He states that he is what he is because of God’s grace.

This is a good thing for all of us to get into our hearts…we are, we accomplish, we do what we do because of God’s great grace and nothing more!  We often give ourselves credit.  But any special ability we have came to us as a result of God’s grace…it is grace upon grace upon grace and nothing less!
